2019: Focus on Innovation and Technology
With the Company's 75th anniversary in 2020, 2019 was a year of reflection regarding our future and of significant transition for the Company that will help shape it for many years to come. This included the introduction of our new trade name, Mutual of America Financial Group, and logo, which convey more clearly who we are, what we have done successfully for 75 years – retirement services and investments – and where we are going.
The 2019 Annual Report spotlights several major innovative technology changes and enhancements that the Company invested in during 2019. These important initiatives will further strengthen our products and services, help us become even better at meeting our customers' needs and position us for continued success during 2020 and beyond.

For example, Stephen Briganti, President and CEO of the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, discusses how Mutual of America worked with him to create a retirement plan that aligns with his organization's mission and goals and that his employees can embrace and trust.
